The second workshop is all about the "basics" of nutrition when the way we look isn't the primary goal, but rather to improve overall quality of life - without guilt, shame, or toxic positivity "just do it" mindset stuff. 


Here is some of what we'll cover over about 30-45 minutes with plenty of time at the end for relevant questions and answers.


• The truth about macronutrients and each of their vitals roles

• The role of different vitamins & minerals

• Nutrition to manage blood pressure, diabetes, cholesterol, rheumatoid arthritis - and more

• Reading/interpreting nutrition labels

• Health disparities and socio-economic barriers to nutrition

 

DISCLAIMERS/TRIGGER WARNINGS

I've struggled with disordered eating for much of my life, most recently orthorexia. As always, to protect myself and everyone else, the focus of this discussion will be as sensitive as possible and focused on nutrition to support short and long-term quality of life.


 

Downloads will be available 72-hours prior to the event (May 8th); those who download will be sent a PDF copy of the presentation slides after the LIVE event.
